Inject Javascript for link popularity

It would be great if I could inject some javascript into my page that would attach itself to all the outgoing links, and track what visitors click on. This would be similar to a web stats injection (like Urchin uses). Maybe it could throw a pretty bar graph around the link when you roll over it.

  • Such things already exist. Damian Katz has "Clicky". http://damienkatz.net/2005/03/clicky_instantl_1.html

Also MapStats (http://mapstats.blogflux.com/) has a free service and script that will add this functionality to your site and turn it into pretty pictures. (It's actually the same script as Damian's, just obfuscated.)
